Chris Willcox is Executive Officer for Nomura Holdings Inc. and Head of Wholesale. Prior to his current role, he was CEO & President of Nomura Holding America (NHA), Nomura Securities International (NSI) and Nomura Global Financial Products (NGFP). Previously, Chris spent 15 years at J.P. Morgan in a number of leadership roles, most recently as CEO of J.P. Morgan Asset Management. As CEO, he was responsible for the overall Asset Management business, managing $1.9 trillion across equities, fixed income, alternatives, and multi-asset solutions on behalf of institutional, sovereign and retail clients globally. He was previously the Head of Global Fixed Income and Liquidity at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Global Head of Rates at J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank. He has extensive foreign exchange, fixed income markets, and investment banking experience. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, he served in various roles at Citigroup over a 15-year period, most recently as the Head of Global Rates, Currencies & Commodities in Asia Pacific & Japan. Chris earned a B.Sc. in economics from University College London and an M.Sc. in economics from the London School of Economics.
