I am a skilled and devout linguist with a rich history of language learning, teaching and exploration. At the heart of my experience there has always been a linguistic element, be it writing in a journalistic style, teaching or indeed learning. I aim to marry my love of languages with my passion for fostering the same love in others. I am currently aiming to work within the TEFL environment and am exploring options both in the U.K. and further afield. I am a strong believer that languages open doors, and am flexible in terms of where I would be willing to work. My experiences both as a qualified teacher of French and Spanish and learner of languages equips me with the grammatical, pedagogic and indeed emotional skills required to effectively promote language acquisition. I am accustomed to working with others to establish pedagogic goals, and have worked as a team both within classrooms and within larger departments and faculties of MFL education. I can offer a variety of languages but also bring transferable skills from my journalistic background.I have served as a media liaison for the Alzheimer's Society and have voluntarily contributed material for them, as well as establishing a blog on Huffington Post.
