My current role involves developing and maintaining a set of maintenance, renewal and repair documentation in accordance with legislative and industry standards across a range of electrical and mechanical assets; e.g. Electrical distribution equipment (High &Low voltage), HVAC, Escalators, Lifts and Overhead Line equipment. Providing technical assistance.

The Graduate Trainee programme enabled me to undertake secondments throughout Nexus Rail in Renewals (Project Management), Maintenance Delivery, Engineering and Capital Delivery departments. During this time I have been responsible for the delivery of renewal projects under the Asset Renewal Program (ARP), planning and undertaking essential maintenance.

During my time in this role I was responsible for the calibration, fault finding and repair of various radiation monitoring equipment. I also worked as part of a team to design and develop a new modern range of portable radiation monitoring equipment.
