Currently employed as an Analyst IV in the Process Control Laboratory at Zoetis. Daily work includes sample recovering, extraction, and analysis via HPLC using Empower. Additional analyses performed include particle size determination, turbidity, pH, and loss on drying. Sample types include in-process solids, fermentation broths, finished products, and soluble samples. Analysts also perform chromatography and laboratory notebook review as well as batch record review to assist QA department.Previous work as an analyst for an environmental testing company. Analysis of water samples in testing for Legionella via the ISO and CDC methods. Process includes sample receiving and checking if suitable for analysis (temperature, hold time, and chlorine presence). Experience gained through entire testing from filtering, acid/heat treatments, plating, and reading. Additional testing performed on water samples for coliforms via Colisure, Colilert (Quantitray), and HPC/Sim-plate analyses. In addition, trained in PLM asbestos analysis including identifying and determining asbestos content through analyst estimation and point count methods.Additional previous work included experience as a Documentation Associate gaining knowledge in the cGMP pharmaceutical field. Built strong skills in documentation practices, Microsoft Office applications literacy, compilations of no-data applications for CDRO certification. Coordinated with QC, QA, production, manufacturing, MSTG, PDTS, and microbiological scientists for compilation of raw data for auditor review. During my Undergraduate studies, I worked in fungal laboratory at Rutgers University under Dr. Bennett while completing my undergraduate degree. Gained vast knowledge of laboratory techniques including aseptic technique, problem solving, media preparation, microbial culturing, laboratory documentation, and data analysis.
