The Secretary General shall be the Chief Administrative Officer of the National CSOs Council.• He/she shall preside over administrative meetings of the Secretariat• He/she shall cultivate partnership with local and international organizations• He/she shall foster coordination and networking with member organizations and others stakeholders.• He/she shall run the day to day activities of the Council• He/she shall have the power to negotiate with donors, international organizations, government agencies, local organizations, etc..• He/she shall keep the records of active and inactive member organizations.• He/she shall sign communication emanating from the Council• He/she shall submit progress reports both financial and narrative to the National Executive Council bi-annually and annually.• He/she shall employ and dismiss low level employee of the Secretariat with the consent of the EC.• He/she shall be responsible for all correspondence and their circulations. • He/she shall be the secretary to the Executive Committee• He/she shall be a signatory the bank account of the Council

Serve as the senior administrator in the day to day running of the CouncilServe as spoke person of the Council as directed by the Executive CommitteeDevelop project proposal and annual work plan of the CouncilEnsure the establishment of Council's network in the counties.Represent the Council at national, regional and international meetings.Make periodic report to the Executive CommitteeConvene Annual General Assembly in consultation with the Executive Committee
