As the Founder and Chief Advocacy Officer of a media enterprise specializing in natural resource communication, I lead the development and production of engaging storytelling initiatives. These initiatives communicate scientific research and ecosystem dynamics to diverse audiences, visually linking conservation actions with relevant scientific disciplines. I spearhead fundraising efforts, cultivate relationships with multiple funding sources, and drive forward a compelling vision for the enterprise. Additionally, I manage professional relationships, speak at media events and conferences, and oversee a team of five consultants. Coordinator, I increased water availability and protected the headwaters of the Colorado River through the development of audacious conservation and climate resiliency initiatives, efficient resource allocation, program synthesis, public engagement, and the facilitation of agreement among a culturally and economically diverse set of stakeholders. I developed sustainability-focused strategies through the implementation of science-based thought leadership paired with active outreach initiatives to influence local, regional, and statewide efforts in developing sustainable water policies.
