Responsible for the physical delivery of the mobile access network within the South UK; providing leadership and management to deliver network solutions in a fast moving, complex environment.• Accountable for a cross-functional team of 12 individuals who plan and deliver fibre and microwave transmission connectivity within time, cost and quality constraints.• Management of the south UK area budget for CAPEX and OPEX across radio deployment and transmission to enable network rollout and deliver financial objectives.• Act as a technology representative to board level, providing subject matter expertise to help drive revenue growth by leveraging network capabilities.

Responsible for the management of onshore and offshore teams to enable logical connectivity across the mobile and fixed access networks. • Accountable for the end to end logical connectivity of the transmission network from eNodeB to RNC/BNC from circuit planning to network provisioning and integration support.• Enable transmission network high level and low level designs through to deployment readiness and network implementation.• Support the closure of legacy transmission networks to reduce OPEX costs and drive to a single strategic transmission network.

Responsible for the delivery of the ATM to IP transmission migration programme (IPRAN) across the Vodafone UK network and transmission service readiness to enable Vodafone key business initiatives.• Creation and execution of project plans in order to enable transmission IP capability for 4G rollout.• Build team resource plans and individual capabilities to ensure alignment with project objectives and future requirements.• Establish and manage key contracts with vendors to enable delivery.• Manage customer satisfaction and perception via the various governance boards

Install, Repair, and Maintain residential and business telephony and broadband systems in the BT Openreach external copper network from Main Distribution Frame to customer Network Termination Equipment including Poles and Underground Network intervention.Key Skill:· Customer liaison skills to ensure a successful and happy experience for the end user and service provider.· Logical and Lateral thinking to overcome installation issues, and to take account of customer needs including broadband and other systems requirements.· Use of HAWK testers and other line test tools, to fault locate and prove lines to the best standard possible.· Experienced use of Ladders, Drills and other equipment for line installations on standard houses, multiple dwelling units, and businesses adhering to Health and Safety and Technical standards.· Proven ability to manage daily work load targets, whilst avoiding Early Life Failures and Repeat Visits.· NRSWA (2011) accredited to comply with road working standards.

Install, Repair, and Maintain residential and business television, telephony and broadband systems in the VirginMedia Fiber Optic network including Underground Network intervention.Key Skills:· Dealing with Fiber to the Cab technology, including the use of Siamese CATV cable.· Install, Repair and Maintain Television Services, including Hard Drive Recorder Systems and Video onDemand Services.· Use of Fiber Optic Signal Level Meters, Analogue Volt Meters and test tools to resolve faults and ensure quality of service.· Identify “Network” issues and escalate as required for resolution.· Identify Upsell and Cross Sell opportunities and successfully convert the lead to generate extra revenue from site visits.

Repair and maintain BT Switching and Transmission systems, including System X, AXE10 and NGS through to the Main Distribution Frame.
