High-Level Quantum Computing PhD researcher and developer, focused on all aspects of the QC stack from developer interfacing and application, to hardware-specific compilation and optimisation. I am also a co-founder of the startup NeuWave Technologies, alongside our founder Jana Stella and co-founder Lucas Martin. NeuWave uses novel AI predictive capabilities to greatly improve the accuracy of wind and wave predictions for near-shore wind farms, and provides this data on a simple and intuitive platform for all to use with ease.With a heavy background in Computer Science, and a loving interest in all things Quantum-related, I initially joined the QC field in my BSc Comp. Sci. at the University of Nottingham, UK. Here, under supervision from Prof. Thorsten Altenkirch, I successfully fixed, implemented and shipped out a Haskell library built by Dr. Alexander S. Green used for the simulation of quantum computation - and earned an Individual Project Prize for my work; the paper for this can be found here:https://www.researchgate.net/publication/333918631_Quantum_Computing_in_HaskellFrom here, my love of, and dedication in, the field grew exponentially, and through self-education in Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Information Theory and Advanced Compilation Methodologies during Covid-19, I earned a scholarship at the University of Manchester to study a PhD in Computer Science focused on Quantum Computation and Compilation, under supervision from classical computing field leaders, namely Dr. Mikel Luján, Prof. John Goodacre and Dr. Pavlos Petoumenos.Put more specifically, my PhD project is aimed at High-level Language models, their applicability to Quantum Computation and better than the state-of-the-art Compilation methods which are revealed through such models. Furthermore, I am currently involved in multiple side projects which look at many other aspects of the Quantum Computing stack, including Hardware-Software Co-design, Error rate mitigation and Reinforcement-driven Optimisation.I am also an avid Buddhist Practitioner and Teacher, Piano and Guitar Musician, and Quantum networker for all things Quantum on the Computer Science side.
