Started with the goal of migrating a legacy software suite for the international distribution centre. (VB6 -> C#, MySQL, documentation, design, SVN)Moved to the flagship multi-million pound e-commerce platform's development team. (C#, Razor, NServiceBus, RavenDB, MSMQ, MSSQL, Message-based Architecture, GIT)Took the reins on a project to re-design the architecture, process, choice of language and quality of a new platform that was intended to de-tangle and prevent duplicate effort. (Node.JS, Automation, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, Bash/Powershell, Microservice Architecture, GIT)

Worked primarily with PHP, JavaScript, SQL and HTML5's Canvas, occasional use of C# and Actionscript when the project required. Supporting existing systems, developed in house and received from clients, extending the functionality to support our existing products.Developed multiple tiers to the web application projects, from database queries to secured API services and down to front end data manipulation, as such grew familiar with all areas of website development.

Initially joined the company as primarily a C# developer, working on existing systems to implement new features, extend existing features, debug and optimise code. As needs required, the company moved its focus onto website development with e-commerce and custom content management systems. With this shift, new skills were required to support our existing front end developers, PHP and JavaScript quickly followed along with a greater understanding of SQL.As the company required different skills over many projects, gradually more creative skills were introduced with a strong familiarity with ActionScript 2 and 3, along with Flash's animator timeline. Toward the end of the company life, we focused on interactive games built with HTML5's Canvas element, making heavy use of earlier acquired skills to build gambling games, featuring real video footage, sounds and animation.The company went into liquidation in November 2013, at which point the staff were made redundant.
