While enrolled at Wichita State University I studied the theory behind different renewable technologies such as solar power, wind power, and hydro power. Along with this I gained experience with various other fields including electrical engineering, programming, and graphical design. Along with my course work I was employed by the college first as a math grader for calculus, trig, and college algebra; then I became employed as a student energy auditor through a grant program offered at the college. During my time as an energy auditor I took part in evaluating different companies to determine where they could save money. Different areas which we audited inside these companies included their lighting, energy bills, water usage, air compressors energy consumption, and air leaks. Along with these jobs, during my final year at Wichita State University I was the club president for the climbing club. As the club president I attended meetings with the club managers, scheduled club events, ensured the wall was safe for climbing, and I also helped with advertising for the club. During my time at Wichita State University I received my bachelors in engineering as well as a minor in mathematics. Upon graduation I graduated with cum laude and a 3.55 GPA.
