With over 21 years of experience in the US Army, I am a seasoned and skilled leader in the field of aviation maintenance and training. I hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, and I am passionate about improving processes, quality, and efficiency in complex and dynamic environments. I am currently an Aviation Operations Manager at US Army, where I manage the maintenance and training of 10 rotary wing aircraft and 22 aviation mechanics. I am driven by the mission and vision of the US Army, and I strive to uphold the values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having served in various roles and locations throughout my career.In my previous role as a First Sergeant at US Army, I was responsible for all administrative actions for 41 employees, including pay, PTO, promotions, and talent management. I also developed the skills of junior and middle managers, and ensured their career progression and satisfaction. Before that, I was an Aviation Maintenance Production Control at US Army, where I managed 400 aviation mechanics in support of 136 army rotors wing aviation assets. I coordinated work orders with outside organizations, sourced parts and materials, and held daily sync meetings with both lower and upper level management. In all my roles, I have demonstrated resource planning, course material, and organizational leadership skills, as well as a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence.
