My interest in mental health stems from the ongoing stigma which I aim to reduce. I hope to delve into a career path that fosters personal growth and allows me to make positive change to the world. My dream is to use my love for art and storytelling to teach about mental health in a compelling and educational manner. As an effective communicator, I consistently approach my tasks with positivity and dedication.There was my 3 years at Mexico where I cooked and served others, enriching my life through a newfound community based on the expression and communication of love that surpassed barriers in language and culture. My first job as a security rover for UC Berkeley introduced me to handling difficult, rule-breaking patrons, requiring me to constantly communicate among other workers and remain vigilant to ensure the proper function of the library.Now, I am a research assistant assigned tasks like inputting data in tables, using R to create tables, reading research papers independently weekly, and going to test sites to conduct studies on children. Although research has been a primary focus of my interest, I ventured into a marketing role, therapy role, and office role, yet I am still here finding what I want to do with my future.
