A senior mechanical draftsperson with over 20 years experience in the engineering industry. Started formal engineering work as a cadet in the Physics and Engineering Laboratories at the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. After completing cadetship, moved into design drafting, specialising in Oil and Gas / Petrochemical piping and HVAC. Has an extensive background in 3D pipe work and pipe work isometrics, bulk storage tanks, fire protection, plant room layouts, site and tank layouts, boilers and heat exchangers, ductwork design and shop drawings, P&ID’s, PFD's, schematics layouts, hydraulic layouts, pipe rack layouts, GA's and minor civil works. Site work experience includes site measures, coordination issues, investigative and remedial inspections. Technical writing experience includes O&M manuals and specifications.Has excellent skills in AutoCAD 2D and 3D modelling, CADworx Plant and Equipment, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, manual drawing, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Current status, Canadian permanent resident.
