Chris is a principal consultant for FarrPoint with over 12 years experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. He has worked on a wide range of Technology and Connectivity projects, spanning multiple technologies including fibre infrastructure, Next Generation Access, DSL (VDSL, G.fast), fixed-wireless and mobile (4G/5G) projects. He has significant experience delivering technical and commercial advice to large and complex projects, supported by his skills in data analytics and infrastructure cost modelling. In March 2015, Chris was a member of the team awarded the Royal Academy of Engineering Major Project Award for his work on the Highlands and Islands Superfast Broadband Project.Chris is currently working with clients across the public and private sector, providing support to DCMS on Project Gigabit and a number local authorities in the implementation of connectivity projects including Superfast/Gigabit Broadband, Local Full Fibre Networks (LFFN), 4G mobile Infill and 5G projects. He is also an experienced GIS Consultant with experience across many projects, including work on the A9 Dualling Project for the Atkins/Mouchel Joint Venture. Chris is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a trained ISO/IEC 27001:2013 auditor.
