I start each day with the goal to change the world around me, by spreading joy, love, affirmation, patience and understanding. I work closely with homebuyers and their Real Estate Agents to find the best mortgage available for their unique needs. FHA, VA, USDA Rural Housing, Conventional loans, Jumbo loans, Divorce situations, Part-time farms, new construction, Refinance, multi-family, Reverse Mortgage, Home Equity loans, manufactured homes on land and in parks, and complex deals for investment properties, alternative income documentation, bankruptcies and foreclosures in the past.I've been helping educate people about mortgages since 1989, and can honestly say, I truly love my job. It is very satisfying to help my clients understand their options when buying a home or refinancing, and obtain what is usually the largest financial obligation of their lives. One of the greatest joys is attending the closing and seeing the joy and excitement in the faces of my clients. My passion is one-on-one loan conversations, putting myself in the position of my client. Let's talk about the "what ifs". I find people make better, more well informed decisions this way. With great attention to detail, and the ability to recall guidelines and changes from one investor to the next, I am able to avoid mistakes and save time. This is very important to facilitate on-time closings. Part of my daily routine is staying abreast of the legislative, regulatory, industry, and investor specific changes that are coming daily. I take the time to listen to my clients, and ask open-ended questions that help me recommend the right loan product to meet their needs. I also enjoy teaching Realtors about all the different programs such as 203K and Conventional Rehabilitation loans, VA, FHA, Rural Development, Conventional financing, Jumbo loans, and showing them strategies to help them help more people. I am happily married to my beautiful wife Kim, and we'll celebrate 30 years of marriage in 2024. We have 3 amazing children, 1 adorable grandchild, and are working on publishing a wonderfully illustrated book for young readers.
