Responsible for daily tactical support of supplier product through supplier verification efforts, to reduce/eliminate: redundant receiving inspection, incoming inspection versus suppliers, acceptance/use of marginal product. These objectives are achieved by leading supplier non-conformance resolutions, coordinating supplier sorting, corrective actions, promoting and implementing quality concepts and transferring these requirements to the supplier’s responsibility. Participate in development activities to proactively improve product/processes and prevent nonconforming product. (NCP)Participate in Design Reviews, PFMEA, Quality Plan development and part approval of supplier product. Work with Engineering and Purchasing in establishing CPPAS (PPAP) requirements for supplied product. Monitors NCP, PDI and 90-day warranty data of supplied product and manages data reporting for post-production follow-up. Support first pass yield.Establish appropriate measurement methods to insure “like-methods” exist with the supplier. Provide input with Supplier Performance and Risk Measurement. Work on strategic cross functional team with supplier development, perform domestic, and international supplier audits. Participate in product development team efforts on areas involving product quality assurance support. Provide product reliability, design and critical feature analysis input to current product and new product development.Act as liaison with Sourcing Specialists between Crown and suppliers on non-conformances. Pre-assessment of potential supplier NCP to determine if the NCP is a supplier or manufacturing/design issue. Work to directly reduce NCP via formal supplier corrective action input and management. Managing containment, supplier teardowns, sort activity and product returns. Manage zero hour defects and supplier warranty data to issue CARs. Support the use of statistical tools, when appropriate to provide meaningful information and data.

Kukral & Taylor Safaris is a small company started by myself and Mike Kukral, right now we provide a personally guided two week trip through the Great Rift Valley in Kenya Africa. Mike and I personally handle all the trip planning: contacting airlines, securing group flights, reservations for national parks, hotels/camp sites, food and transportation in Kenya. Mike and I also travel with our customers from departure of the US to and through Kenya, and once again back to the states. Public Safety is a campus security service, while working here I worked dispatch, operated the security camera system on campus, answered phone calls, operated the campus Severe Weather Alert System, worked on technical problems such as: unlocking lost electronics to determine owner, small camera system auto save data, and small camera setup.

During my time at Triumph I wrote work instructions for production workers, reviewed Engineering documents and drawings, redesigned a radius production tool, and investigated production marks on specialized parts.The main project I worked on at Triumph consisted of designing a new automated Konbon cart specifically at the proof and measure stage of the Wire rope production process. The cart I designed needed to travel to a designated location which changed with each part, lock in place, apply a max proof load of 7500lbs, log the final cable length in a database, print out a label, ejected the finished cable, and return to its home location all automatically. The cables reach in upwards of 800-1200 inches and must meet a tolerance of +/-.375”, with the shorter cables +/- .12”. I came up with 2 viable options that met all the goals and constraints of the project, once put in place the cart would increase production by 53%, decrease idle time of workers, and ensure better quality.Triumph Group is an international supplier of aerospace components and systems. At Sandcastle Industries I assisted with the design of buildings that utilized low material cost, maximizing interior space while minimizing building materials. The latest project I worked on was the development of a “Green Building” which was designed to reduce energy waste from heating and cooling by using high insulative materials, self-circulating air ducts, and low cost solar heat installation.

During my work here I was on a number of different projects that produced products with the Laser system, some of which include: developing Indiana State Fair awards, International Federation Leather Guild awards, Indiana state police plaques, local Terre Haute and Brazil sheriff’s office Plaques.
