Launching a new team at CNN focused on optimizing revenue and customer lifetime value across our ad-supported products. Our goal is to increase revenue by presenting the "most valuable next click". For the user, we will deliver an ad experience that compliments, rather than distracts, from CNN. Our key results are measured by a Northstar metric focused on increasing customer lifetime value and weekly active users.

I lead product strategy and execution across CNN's recommendations and personalization initiative. This $x00,000,000 portfolio saw x50,000,000 monthly unique visitors and a 15% increase in engagement time.My cross-functional team focused on dual-track discovery & delivery. We accomplished:* Launching the first algorithmic-driven "For You" news feed on Mobile Apps* Launching Topics & Follow to help people connect to stories they care about* Launching CNN Accounts to collect first-party data to accelerate deeper personalization* Building a reference customer panel to understand privacy, trust, and needs* Introducing A|B Testing to the Mobile Apps

Built a strategy and roadmap for collecting first-party, privacy-compliant, identity and consumption data. This data platform collects more than 30 billion events per month and provides CNN with the foundation for recommendations & personalization.

Worked as a consultant for large clients like Marriott, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and The Economist. The work was a mixture of product design and software engineering.

Worked closely with product management to design and deliver hyper local portals and home pages.

Rewrote the Autotrader search page in semantic markup and introduced AJAX/Web 2.0 technologies.

Worked across three Atlanta startups in early web development technologies.
