Building community requires humanity.I knew at a young age that my life’s work would be dedicated to public service. As the child of immigrants who struggled to make ends meet, I grew up with a strong sense of wanting to contribute to serving underserved communities, utilizing my ability to connect with people in genuine and meaningful ways.I have leveraged all of my opportunities and roles to build (and currently working on strengthening) a repertoire of skills such as project management, communications, strategic planning, statistical analysis, community outreach and engagement, and others in the hopes that they allow me to become a better human for the communities I aim to serve. I also believe humanity means everyone should be able to express themselves and a have a little bit of fun, so here is a short list of what describes me outside of work: lifelong Lakers fan, proud father, fragrance enthusiast, foodie. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.-African proverb
