Responsible for coordinating the technical design, installation, and validation of a cutting edge broadcast facility at Hudson Yards including over 400 editorial and production work spaces, two data centers, and multiple color grading and sound sweetening control rooms. Responsibilities include: Gathering end-user and stakeholder requirements for post production, video ingest, video delivery/play-out, and long term archive workflow needs. Maintaining and communicating project plans, meeting minutes, and facility-wide budgets. Working with and directing internal and external vendor teams to provide deadline driven technical documentation, as well as installation and configuration of technology Directing the development of continuing infrastructure designs and "day 2" technology installation projects.

Project Management responsibilities: Develop project plans and collaborate with NBC’s Engineering, IT, and Construction Facilities groups and Third-Party vendors to deliver technology- and workflow-enhancing projects in a timely and cost-effective manner in a fast-paced environment; Design and update technical documentation, data topology drawings, and workflow flowcharts used for project engineering and customer-facing solutions;Manage operational and capital expense budgets for the Media Technology Services Department;Make technology purchase decisions for NBC’s News Broadcast Headquarters; Recommend technology and workflow innovations for NBC’s bureau divisions worldwide;Product Designer and Scrum Team Leader for the development of custom proprietary software, including critical systems monitoring and notifications services and web-based interactive data aggregation and distribution tools.

Responsible for installation and service of next generation Avid Non-Linear Editing solutions including Avid Interplay, Avid Unity ISIS, Avid Unity MediaNetwork, Media Composer, News Cutter, Symphony Nitris DX, and Avid | DS. Responsible for the design and documentation of installed Avid Interplay integrated computer networks used to distribute High Definition Video. Responsible for Windows Active Directory setup and administration. Performed Workflow consultation and documentation for Standard Operating Procedures for the use of Avid Interplay Asset Management.

Performed Setup, Installation, maintenance and integration of mobile Avid Non-Linear editing systems and Avid Unity on location. Also responsible for On-Site Troubleshooting. Assisted the sound designer for post production sound mixing.

Responsible for assisting customers with troubleshooting technical and operational problems. Worked in Xpress Pro Support, Media Composer Support, Avid Unity MediaNetwork / Avid Unity ISIS, and currently Avid DS /Symphony Nitris Support.Also attended various Expos and conferences, including DV Expo NYC, NAB, SMPTE, Avid Town, and Avid In Motion demonstrating Avid Xpress Studio HD, Avid Media Composer and Avid Symphony Nitris.
