Habify is a dynamic residential remodeling firm whose mission is to make high-quality home improvement projects simple, enjoyable, and affordable for everyone. I founded Habify to create a unique, consumer-friendly hybrid offering for the industry that seamlessly integrated a staff of architects and interior designers, a retail showroom with product displays (cabinets, countertops, lighting, etc.), and a licensed construction operation (GC, project managers/foremen, subcontractors). The company has earned outstanding customer satisfaction ratings (96% of online customer reviews at 5/5 stars) and service awards from Houzz.com and Angie’s List.My role has included building the Habify brand and assets, traditional and digital marketing strategy, establishing and managing supplier relationships, and development and documentation of repeatable process playbooks to ensure project consistency. I defined our vision and core values, hired a team of 15 FTEs and 45 subcontractors, and worked to foster a culture of collective success and a customer focus. I led our software vendor evaluation/selection and implementation for an integrated set of tools that included Quickbooks online, Hubspot CRM, BuilderTrend, PandaDoc, Slack, Zapier, Dialpad VOIP, AnswerConnect, and Google Suite. I also designed the sales strategy and collateral to articulate the Habify value proposition and pricing model. My role included closing all sales, with $9M closed to date.

Pro Energy Consultants was a startup energy auditing firm and the first with a national footprint. I acquired the South Florida territory and performed 150+ energy audits that enabled property owners to reduce energy consumption and save money. My success led to a Franchisee of the Year award for 2010.

Job2Career was a privately-held foreign nurse recruiting and staffing company with five offices across India and Dubai. I joined as a minority shareholder with a mandate to diversify a small client base and run all domestic and international operations. My work included creating a marketing and business development strategy while building a sales team, and we were successful in expanding the client base from two small Miami hospitals to 14 new accounts in four new states within 18 months. The sales team's efforts grew gross revenue from $4.2M to $10M over four years with net profit increasing by 88%.We successfully negotiated a sale of Job2Career to a competitor, but the deal fell through when the US State Department discontinued a visa program key to our business model.
