During this time I joined Bosch/Siemens as an intern, coupling studies with full-time work; allowing me to learn the operations of the business from ground up. During this time, I was given the responsibility of First Line Management, overseeing the Shipping & Receiving departments at the National CDC. Upon graduation, my career started as a Jr. Buyer/Planner for Bosch/Siemens, responsible for the purchasing, scheduling, and planning of post market service parts & accessories for the Home Appliances sector. After year 1, I was promoted to Buyer. My role included buying & planning parts, accessories and assemblies for various product lines, SAP support & training, Management of returns, Implementation of WMS from IM and training, maintenance of material master records, and inventory/forecast improvements in MRP.In order to broaden my career and breadth of responsibility I joined Procure4 in Mar. '07, as a Business Analyst. For the first year, I supported two Consultants on various Cost reduction projects. During this time I was able to expand my procurement and category knowledge, across a number of categories including: Smallwares, Disposables, Direct & Indirect spend categories.After 12 months I then took on the role of and responsibility of Category Leader, actively working on cost reduction projects across various business sectors and categories; to include Direct & Indirect Spend categories, Ocean Freight, Retail Packaging, Warehousing & Logistics and Food.The breadth and ever-changing climate at Procure4 allowed me to expand and fine-tune key traits such as; procurement strategy, negotiations, project management, and client engagement skills.In Aug. of 2012, I joined ATD, as a Sourcing Manager, responsible for Direct & Indirect product & service sourcing, supplier contracting and implementation.In May of 2014, I joined Foodbuy as a Category Manager.
