In April, I went to Singapore to moderate three panels and lead a Shark Tank activity with three start-ups and three VCs. Terrific event!

I was the Chairperson for the Quantum Computing Symposium on Monday 15 April at the Bio-IT Conference in Boston. I initiated the Quantum Economic Development Consortium's Office Hours program, hosting once a month informal conversations between students in quantum information science and mentors in the private sector and at National Labs. Since April, we have had over 100 students from a dozen different countries participate with several landing internships or jobs.

I have delivered my workshop "How to Succeed at Jobs that Don't Exist Yet" to hundreds of students at schools including Baruch, Bennington College, Columbia, Duke, Stern School of Business/NYU, Texas A&M, Queens College and Union College. Twice a year, I taught a class and conducted workshop activities on 21st Century Corporate Communications as part of a Comms 101 class.

I designed and led a series of workshops on the future of fintech at Caltech as part of a program for State Street Global Advisors.

My role was to help define strategic direction as well as identify sponsors and speakers. I also co-led the social media activities. Our last event took place on May 2, 2014 at the NASDAQ MarketSite in the heart of Times Square. Speakers included Deepak Chopra and other thought leaders sharing compelling perspectives across a range of disciplines.

My role was to provide communications support to executives as well as sales teams: writing articles, executive memos, building visual arguments, curating a Twitter handle. I led the creation of a social media strategy and drove adoption of social business tools and processes across the worldwide Global Financing organization.

Provided strategic communications support to the leadership team focused on IBM's corporate social responsibility programs, including the Corporate Service Corps, Smarter Cities Challenge, World Community Grid and Transition2Teaching.

My primary responsibility was to provide communications support for two general managers in IBM Global Technology Services - creating messaging directed at both public and internal audiences all over the world. I also provided team support for related internal and executive communications activities across the business. In addition, I became an active member of the Virtual Universe Community, working with other IBMers to explore the implications of the 3D Internet on business and society.

Led development of the communications tactics, branding, design and naming for the MoneySmart program that delivered financial education and planning to U.S. employees. Tactics ranged from designing posters for seminar support to producing podcasts with MoneySmart Coaches to provide digital assets for the Intranet.

Member of the IBM Global Services worldwide strategy team. We worked with executives in the various lines of business as well as with other organizations in IBM to develop and align transformational approaches for the application of technology and innovative process designs to business objectives.

Senior program manager of a team that designed and built an Internet-based bond trading application for Morgan Stanley.

Second person hired as part of a 12 member account manager team assembled to evangelize use of the Internet and the Web to drive emerging business models at IBM. My clients included Global Financing, Corporate Communications and Global Services. First assignment as a new hire was leading a 20 person team tasked with building 15 Extranet sites per week using a Lotus Notes-based tool. We deployed 160 sites in just over four months.

Developed Web sites for Sedgwick and Prudential. These represented some of the very first uses of the Internet in support of actual business applications.

Produced the first corporate Web site for Johnson & Johnson; it provided access to a Verity data base displaying worldwide job opportunities - a technological breakthrough at the time.
