Senior Software Engineer
CurrentAt Humana, I have the privilege of working on the cutting edge of healthcare interoperability. As Senior a member of the technology team, I am responsible for implementing and supporting the use of the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard, as well as providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.I work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand the needs and requirements of different departments, and to ensure that our solutions met their needs while also adhering to industry standards and best practices. I was responsible for conducting research on the latest developments in the FHIR standard and incorporating these into our interoperability solutions.One of my key achievements at Humana was leading the implementation of a FHIR-based data exchange platform that enabled the seamless exchange of patient information between healthcare providers. This platform has greatly improved the efficiency and quality of care for patients and has received high praise from both internal stakeholders and external healthcare partners.I also collaborate with other technology teams within Humana, as well as with external partners and vendors, to ensure that our solutions are compatible with other systems and applications. This requires me to have a deep understanding of healthcare data standards and protocols, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.At Humana, I am gaining a wealth of experience in healthcare interoperability and the FHIR standard. I am able to put my technical skills to the test and develop new ones, while also making a positive impact on the lives of patients. I am proud of my contributions to the team and the organization.
