The scope of educational activities:I teach subjects relating to ICT. The main ones in which I give lectures, seminars and supervise laboratories: - "Computer Networks and Telecommunications", - "Operating Systems II" (UNIX). - “Traffic Control in Telecommunication Networks”.The scope of scientific activity:Traffic control in broadband data communication networks. Study of Next Generation Networks (NGN) and IP network with service guaranteed QoS IP network. Flow control, congestion control in computer networks. Research methods, Connections Admission Control (CAC). Queuing traffic survey methods. Classification and traffic policing. Test network performance and its components. Designing and testing the network. The study of telemedicine solutions, innovative efforts relating to the systems of HIS, RIS and PACS. Studies on secure systems for transmissions of medical data.. The study of the MEDEOS (Medical Expertise Ordering System) system .In this area, under the supervision of prof. W. Burakowski Wof the arsaw University of Technology I have written my PhD thesis "Acceptance methods for new ABR connections in ATM technology."In the dissertation I conducted research by creating software modules in the C++ language for the network simulator.

Since 08.11.2007 - Chairman of the Westpomeranian Council of the Information Society founded by the Marshal of the Westpomeranian Province. The Council's mission is to advocate the idea of an information society through supporting its development and the economy of knowledge in the region. The Group for the Information Society was established at the Convention of Marshals of Provinces of the Republic of Poland, is which he acts as a representative of the Westpomeranian Province. The mission of the Group is to support the Marshals in the field of IT and conducting shared policies for the IS development in the regions and to influence appropriately the central government in terms of ICT solutions for public administration.He led works related to the construction of the Westpomeranian Broadband ICT Network for the citizens and administration. The project sets out to build the infrastructure, services and applications necessary for the development of the IS in our region. He is the Westpomeranian Province representative in the European association for the development of information society in the EU regions – ERISA.2005 – co-author of the study „Strategies for the Construction of the Information Society in the Westpomerianian Province for 2006 – 2015".

Created a design of Academic Metropolitan Area Network in Szczecin - AMAN. On the basis of this project AMAN network based on fiber optic transmission in ATM technology was built.

Contributed to the development of multi-platform software for the telecommunications equipment written in the C language.

Project - The Westpomeranian Academic Network.Developer in a team creating a prototype network device with software from the second to the fourth layer in ISO-OSI model. It was one of the first Polish Ethernet prototype bridge/switch/router.These devices were used in the local area network to connect different faculties of Szczecin University of Technology subnet. Designing and implementation of systems and network applications using the C programming language.
