Heartfelt Care provides Domicilary (Home) Care Support to private and end of life NHS clients in Yeovil, Sherborne and surrounding areas. The business / industry is very challenging but very rewarding to work in, as we are passionate about providing the highest standards of person-centred care.I joined to facilitate steady growth, margin management, process development and do absolutely anything else that needs doing to help the business thrive.Being a young company in a service industry, the people relationships (internal and external), along with compliance and brand building are the most vital things being managed and developed. Areas of the business I am particularly involved in are Business Planning (short and long-term), Business Development / Marketing, Recruitment / HR and Compliance.

After many years of working in large businesses I started my own consultancy specialising in procurement and business efficiency. During this time I signed up over 100 clients (I do enjoy business development), helping a wide range of companies, schools and charities reduce expenditure, maximise profit and increase business values. What I particularly found rewarding in this role was building long-term relationships with business owners and other leadership level professionals, mentoring and exchanging ideas on how organisations can develop and improve.

Assisted a small company project manage the producing of feature films for global release.Budgets were typically of the range £3m to £10m.Liaised with co-producers, raised finance, global negotiations with multiple stakeholders and correspondingly complicated legal agreements.

Responsible for the management and development of products (including data, trading systems, news feeds, information and product applications) contained in Reuters products used in global commodities and energy markets.I worked closely with multiple stakeholders worldwide to plan, develop, launch, refine and market new and existing products. This involved a lot of relationship building and detailed project management,

Managed the sales and marketing division for the supply of natural gas from start up through to having thousands of UK businesses customers. My team comprised of over 50 people in Key Accounts (remotely based, managing relationships with large customers in their region), SME sales (office based), Marketing and New Connections. Apart from enjoying managing the people, I particularly found of particular interest the development of processes and systems to enable the business to grow quickly and profitably.
