I serve as a Statewide Programs Analyst in the Work Program Development & Operations unit. As a statewide programs analyst, I am responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of the adopted work programs for the following program areas: Suntrail, Rest Areas, Weigh Stations, Statewide Planning, Strategic Intermodal Systems, and Assigned Central Office Budgeting Districts. I accomplish the following while maintaining excellent customer service by closely monitoring funds and budget for the above listed program areas:• Performs multi-year analysis of assigned program areas on matters relating to balancing funds and budget at all levels of government • Generate reports to analyze data and develop recommendations to program areas to balance funds in the year they are allocated• Provide technical advice in the programming and verification of data elements to program areas• Provide recommendations to program areas as it relates to maximizing available funds and budget• Communicate on a regular basis with program areas to provide understanding of the functions of the work program office• Analyze and provide recommendations of updates to the Work Program Instructions for each program area• Provide the Director of Work Program & Budget with various project costs reports using pivot tables to allow executive leadership to analyze Department funding scenarios

I served as an Aviation Planning Analyst with the aviation team in the Tallahassee office. I provided exceptional support to project managers related to general planning task. I assisted in the development of airport master plans, statewide aviation system plans, and on-call aviation planning services. I accomplished the following in my role as an aviation planning analyst:• Developed airport master plans for general aviation airports• Assisted in the development of statewide aviation system plans• Provided technical support to geographic information system related projects• Assisted in the development of the Florida Aviation Professionals Academy• Collected and analyzed airport data for general aviation planning services

I served as a District Representative in the Work Program Development & Operations unit. As a district representative, I closely monitored state, federal and local funds and budget for two out of the seven District Work Program offices, plus the Florida Turnpike office, but worked with all seven districts and the Florida Turnpike office to effectively facilitate the building and submittal of the Department’s Adopted Work Program. In doing so, I accomplished the following in my role as a district representative:• Performed multi-year analysis of assigned Districts’ Work Program on matters relating to balancing funds and budget at all levels of government• Generated reports to analyze data and develop recommendations to district offices to balance funds in the year they are allocated• Provided technical advice in the programming and verification of data elements to District Work Program staff• Reviewed proposed work program amendments and modifications for accuracy and recommend approval or rejection• Assisted District offices in analyzing and preparing budget roll forward and budget manual roll forward into new fiscal year• Assisted District offices in analyzing and preparing budget realignment in the current fiscal year• Assisted District offices in preparing for final quarter of the Federal Fiscal Year• Provided the Director of Work Program & Budget with various project costs reports using pivot tables to allow executive leadership to analyze Department funding scenarios• Closely monitored and maintained the Statewide Landscape Expenditure Report to ensure the Department is meeting Florida Statute to provide 1.5% of environmental benefits
