The torque and move time estimates were 90% accurate when compared to the actual collected results. • Developed an automated speed parameter optimization tool. The tool adjusts speed parameters to generate trajectories that optimize tracking error, wafer slippage, vibration, and move time; this eliminates the need for skilled controls engineers to perform manual speed tuning. • Active in the design of ventilation for a new robot type to keep motor temperatures low during high intensity usage. Created a temperature controller (ON-OFF and dynamic) to prevent motor temperatures from exceeding an unsafe threshold during testing.
