I founded a company that provides educational and historical beer tasting and bar tours in Chicago. We grew to employ ten part-time employees, touring multiple times weekly with over 20,000 people since the company’s inception. My practice focused on a diverse range of corporate and securities issues, such as corporate formation and counseling, securities offerings and compliance, and real estate finance transactions, for private companies.Representative matters included: - Represented a developer in the $321 million refinancing of a downtown Chicago Loop skyscraper. - Advised and counseled a national restaurant group on all aspects of obtaining liquor licenses in the City of Chicago, the Village of Arlington Heights, the City of Oakbrook Terrace, the Illinois Racing Board, and the State of Illinois Liquor Control Commission.- Assisted Issuer's securities counsel in various exempt securities offerings conducted under Regulation D and Regulation S and in compliance with USCIS EB-5 program.- Counseled various early stage and small-to-midsize companies in formation and contract issues.
