About Chris Caldwell

Previously assigned as Chief of Staff where I led a diverse team comprised of 150 Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine, and Dept of the Air Force Civilians. Joint Task Force Civil Support is responsible for DoD no-notice and all-hazard disaster response when directed by the President of the U.S., and commands more than 5,000 military personnel during the nation’s most complex disaster scenarios. My 32 years of military service molded me to become a more adaptable, flexible, and loyal leader/follower, multi-tasker, and self-starter. Integrity is paramount to any successful organization and a fundamental value of mine. I am level-headed, able to manage crisis events, resolve conflicts, and enjoy working with diverse staffs. I am an expert executive manager and thrive in interagency environments where relationship-building is important. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I have three married children and seven grandkids. I'm an ok golfer and really enjoy the outdoors (hiking, camping, hunting, fishing.) I like volunteering and have experience with the Boy Scouts, The National Guard Association, equine therapy for veterans with TBI, and Team Rubicon disaster relief.
