I was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of WisePatient (acquired by Sharecare, Inc. in 2012), a SaaS-based patient access & care coordination platform connecting patients and providers online. Before founding WisePatient, I was a Senior Associate at Merrick Ventures, a healthcare and information technology focused venture capital firm led by Michael Ferro in Chicago, IL. While at Merrick Ventures, I supported the corporate development function of Merge Healthcare (NASDAQ:MRGE acquired by NASDAQ:IBM) focusing on mergers & acquisitions and post-merger integration. Prior to joining Merrick Ventures, I was an Associate at Arcapita Ventures, the growth stage venture capital arm of Arcapita, Inc., evaluating healthcare and information technology related investment opportunities. Prior to Arcapita, I worked in Accenture’s Health and Life Sciences Strategy Practice and specialized in operational and information technology strategy for integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, and health plans.
