I am a strategic communications and marketing leader committed to social impact. As Director of Marketing and External Affairs at the Vera Institute of Justice, I oversee strategic partnerships and communications and marketing programs to advance the Institute’s work to end mass incarceration in the United States. This includes building strategic engagements with funders and corporate partners, building executive profiles, and planning and executing marketing campaigns.I have spent my professional career in communications, marketing, and external affairs across philanthropy, nonprofit, issue advocacy, and politics with a focus on driving social change and engaging and growing diverse audiences. I began my career as a digital marketer working for political candidates, campaigns, and advocacy organizations, from the American Civil Liberties Union to the 2012 Obama re-election campaign.
