I was responsible for competely rebuiling & refreshing the website which holds valuable information for vehicle owners and enthusiasts. Resulting in increased website traffic with a mobile friendly website and also introduced the use social media.Working alongside the Archive Project to digitise historic documentation held by the A7CA Archive to become available on the internet. Constructing a purpose built online catalogue (archive.a7ca.org) to publish the work completed by the project team using a Content Management System. This project has worked closely with industry professionals advising the steps to make whilst closely following standard community archiving practice. The end product was to enable the world to view the valuable items and documents held by the Association. It continues to grow to this day. This website was shortlisted and highly commended for 'Outstanding Website of the Year' at the National Car Club Awards in 2017 held at the NEC.

Team Leader of the 2017 University of Sussex Formula Student team (Mobil 1 Sussex Racing). In addition to this, designing the front wheel assemblies of the 2017 car (SR-17).Used a combination of Solid Works and ANSYS software to design and analyse SR-17 wheel assemblies to perform well on tight track. ANSYS Mechanical was also used to perform FEA on front Uprights and Hubs in an effort to reduce unnecessary mass without risk of fracture a worst case situation of full corner and braking. Gained experience of producing technical drawings to the required standard to enable technicians to manufacture the components.

This extra curricular activity links in with my Year 3 Individual Project where as part of the Class 2 team we produce a business case for a fictional car and business to judges at Silverstone in July 2016. My project of Front Suspension falls part of this with a visual display at Silverstone. This work links to nexts year project when designing and manufacturing our car for 2017.At Silverstone in 2016 I led the Class 2 team to present Business, Design and Cost reports to a series of judges. Personally creating the Business Presentation for a bid for investment to a fictional company to manufacture single seat race vehicles covering all aspects including the factory facilities, car specification, modern touches (Dash Camera, Telemetry Phone App) and sustainable initiatives. This presentation was placed 3rd in the World and 1st out of the UK entries. Overall placing Mobil 1 Sussex Racing Class 2 in 8th place, 4th from the UK Universities.

After 2 years in the Band, and 1 year on the Committee as Equipment Secretary I was elected as President of the Band. My role primarily was to oversee the day to day running of the band supported by a committee. Starting with auditioning new members to fill the required places then organising 18 people for rehearsals and gigs, both locally and abroad. Throughout my time in the band we have completed 3 tours, with 4 performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Switzerland and performances at venues in Barcelona. This role also includes having to attend Student Union conferences and meetings to ensure the society is run in the correct manner and ensuring our members are safe.

During my Summer vacations from Sixth Form and University I worked at Wilco Motor Spares in various branches around Norwich. Wilco Motor Spares is the largest family owned independent motor factors group where my duties included serving customers, sourcing car parts in the shop and over the phone from outside suppliers.
