Chris is a seasoned client serving partner with more than 30 years of experience solving challenging business issues and leading teams that support EY’s largest and most complex global technology, manufacturing, and software clients.Chris has advised his clients on a wide variety of complex accounting issues related to revenue recognition, income taxes, business combinations and divestitures, financing transactions, post-retirement benefits, capital investment, and impairment considerations. He has also advised companies executing complex business transformation strategies, working collaboratively with client personnel in numerous areas of their organizations, including tax, corporate development, and treasury, among others. These experiences provide him a close connection to EY’s most experienced National Office resources, facilitating prompt resolutions to his clients’ most challenging technical issues. His past involvement in various merger and acquisition, disposition, and other strategic activities promotes progress rather than roadblocks during the critical points of a transaction.Chris has a proven track record of seamlessly managing EY’s multi-dimensional workstreams for large, complex accounts, providing leadership and balanced oversight to global teams (including statutory audit and shared service center teams), while recognizing the importance of meeting the high standards of both our profession and our clients to achieve outstanding client service. Chris is well connected in the US and internationally, having worked closely with EY teams in more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia and South America. He believes in frequent interaction to clearly set expectations and provide support for connectivity, synergy, and overall global success, while staying aligned with his clients’ emerging issues around the world.Chris believes in fostering a proactive and collegial, organization-wide communication plan with his clients, building mutually trusting and respectful relationships throughout the finance, tax, treasury, internal audit, and business operations areas, as well as critical connection with the audit committee. He has a relaxed yet straight-forward approach, is not afraid to roll up his sleeves to ensure the team’s success, and is equally comfortable working with board, C-suite, or functional members of the team.Chris also has a long-standing commitment to supporting communities. Currently, he proudly serves on the board of directors of Girls Inc of Metropolitan Dallas and the Dallas Division of the American Heart Association.
