I got started working in a dental practice utilizing Dentrix to document our patient records. When I started working at Dominion Dental Spa, we started with no physical charts. Everything had to be in Dentrix. So when it came to ★ Writing clinical notes★ Signing consent forms★ New patient paperwork★Signing and managing treatment plans★ Etc. I made sure to always find the best and fastest way. As a Dentrix trainer, I get excited helping a practice learn the best ways to utilize Dentrix for their office. Every office is different, but have the same needs. Some want to go chartless ASAP, while others need a little more time and TLC. The new generation of doctors coming into the market have been demanding a Mac based dental software. So Henry Schein developed and released Viive. When I heard that Henry Schein released Viive in 2013, I wanted to jump on board and learn this new system right away! Just like Dentrix it is very user friendly and intuitive to your needs.

As the practice coordinator I was responsible for training all new and existing employees, checking to make sure the schedule was full, collections were being made, running payroll, paying taxes (monthly, quarterly and yearly), reconciling the bank account and dental software, and putting out any fires that arouse during the day.
