CurrentThe ultimate objective for the Capital team is to fully understand the capital plan for outer years and tie it to strategic objectives, perform various analyses that help to derive approval decisions ensuring optimal use of capital, monitor and report-out the approved spend to leadership, and foster relationships across multiple stakeholders such as Business Units, IT, IT Finance, Treasury, and PMO.-Support the yearly Capital submission process by collecting investment plans from PSS business units through Anaplan-Provide support to the assigned Business Units (Capital Partners) by understanding their capital needs, answering queries on Anaplan fields, assisting in reallocations of funds in between projects, track risks & opportunities, and fulfilling other ad-hoc requests -Perform investment return analyses such as IRR and NPV and ensure detailed business cases are submitted by Business Units for large investments-Assist in developing PowerPoint deck for the monthly Investment Committee (IC) calls to provide portfolio updates to senior leadership-Manage all aspects of the monthly close process, both from a P&L and balance sheet perspective -Drive collaboration among key business constituents to determine the drivers of UW margin performance.-Provide analysis, reporting and commentary to support the quarterly forecasts and monthly operating results.-Support the coordination and development of business unit strategic and financial plans. -Responsible for supervising and developing models for financial forecasting and reporting functions-Identify, research, develop and recommend solutions to improve business results-Assist in managing the data input fields and ensure that business units have filled out fields completely and accurately
