Hello, my name is Christopher Manzano and I am a junior pursuing a B.A. in Finance supplemented with a minor in Wealth Management at Seton Hall University, expected to graduate in May 2026. I have a very hyper-fixated interest in data analysis and how it can be applied to various industries/sectors- the possibilities are endless. I have also gained valuable retail as well as client service experience at ShopRite as a cashier and at a local Italian Deli where I developed core professional skills that I carry with me no matter the environment I'm in.At ShopRite, I developed critical communication skills by interacting with people from different backgrounds, languages, and personalities, in order to properly assist customers with their shopping needs. Also, I demonstrated great flexibility and adaptability being transferred from cashier to bakery clerk by the manager for my outstanding work in the front of the store. Here, I learned how to adapt when needing to handle different products, equipment, and procedures, as well as how to create a facilitative and efficient workspace. Challenges and opportunities push me beyond what I am capable of in order to expand my comfort zone and improve my skillset. I value teamwork and diversity in the workplace as a first-generation Mexican American in finance. I believe I can bring fresh, creative, and diverse perspectives to any organization that chooses to invest in me as an employee.
