Responsibilities Include:- Providing a line of support to the assembly and test groups to assist in troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of non-routine issues.- Handling the disposition of rejected materials which includes the troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical parts.- Investigating parts issues/shortages quickly and identifying alternate components where necessary to ensure product assembly lines do not experience shutdowns.- Creating and updating manufacturing assembly and test procedures and other documentation to provide clear and concise instructions to manufacturing personnel and to maintain ISO Compliance.- Working as a team player on new product introductions from the concept phase through to the release to production which includes assembly, testing, training, and creation of above-mentioned documentation.- Engaging in continuous improvement and lean projects to improve product and manufacturing floor designs to boost productivity.- Investigating reported problems and defective parts from instrument installations and service appointments to seek out improvements to our in-house processes to prevent recurring issues.

Responsible for the testing and calibration of various scientific thermal analysis instruments, circuit boards, and service parts. Duties include: running tests per procedures and analyzing data against set specifications in order to determine if an instrument is qualified to ship, the pack-up of instruments when instrument orders are received, and the test of replacement service parts for thermal instruments.

My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, cutting grass using push lawn-mowers and riding lawn-mowers, edging the sidewalks using edgers or weed-wackers as well as weed-wacking fences, guardrails, and around the building, mulching and pulling weeds from flower beds, picking up trash during and after sporting events, as well as helping set up for said sport events.
