I am a journalist and regional specialist focused on energy, political and economic issues in the United States and the Mediterranean region with more than a decade of editorial and project management experience. A graduate of the University of Texas' School of Journalism, I also completed graduate studies with distinction at New York University's Center for European and Mediterranean Studies with a research focus on economic development and migration policies. Since 2009, I have covered energy issues in the United States, Europe and North Africa from Washington, DC, New York and Barcelona, creating in-depth editorial content exploring energy markets, geopolitics and security challenges facing the region.Most recently, I joined SNL Energy as an associate editor covering coal and power generation issues in the U.S., Asia and Australia and continue to cover energy topics across the Mediterranean region.
