Artist, Dj, Producer
CurrentDigital Primate's performances are dynamic and genre bending. Incorporating extreme frequencies, his trademark dance floor funk straddles the experimental worlds of sound art and purist dancefloor beats. Dissecting time, pulling apart rhythmic structures and building them up again unexpectedly, Digital Primate's aesthetic is one of chaos and decay underpinned by the deep relentless throb of the always present kick drum. Having produced, collaborated with and performed alongside some of the world's greatest electronic producers and DJs - Mad Professor, Carl Cox, and DJ Krush to name a few, DP has DJed in the hallowed dungeons of legendary Berlin club Tresor alongside DJ Rolando, Surgeon and DJ Hell, and had coffee discussing the finer details of minimal music in hushed tones with Mark Ernestus (of Maurizio and Rhythm and Sound fame).Early techno releases through respected underground label Pro-Jex in the early 2000's set him apart as an important producer.Album releases in 2005 and 2009 (mixed by Mad Professor) garnered worldwide respect and led to him working working with Carl Cox, producing hot new up and coming act Metals and performing around the world from Glastonbury to Rainbow Serpent (Australia). His DJ sets are legendary in Melbourne due to his long running night Centriphugal being a staple amongst the electronic music lovers of his home city during the late 90's early 2000's. He is a veteran of the early outdoor party scene in Melbourne, has played at most of the early Earthcore events and many others and has a deep love for the sound of techno in the wild!In the last 3 years he has been residing in Amsterdam and London and working as a producer between London, Amsterdam and New York. He now lives between Amsterdam and Ireland where he is working on a deep and mysterious techno project.
Director
CurrentI am also a director at Treecreds. A profit for purpose company from which I take no salary. We continue to build on such successes.
Music Producer
As part of my role at ID&T (SFX Europe) I worked closely with Beatport as music producer, manager and engineer at the Beatport Amsterdam Studio. Here I developed and co-ordinated their live streaming program that was based out of the studio. I invited many artists from my networks to come and work in the studio and perform live for the Beatport streaming platform and helped to create content for Beatport Live. I also provided audio services for Beatport's promotional requirements and worked to develop musical sample packs for Beatport Sounds.
Executive Producer
I was brought in to work with ID&T in order to set up their music production department. I created a high end creative production audio studio and worked with ID&T to develop and produce their internal audio production requirements. The studio was named Beatport Amsterdam Studios and here I also set up live streaming services for Beatport's video platform. We had many well known DJ's come to perform here.I created new music for many of the ID&T events such as Sensation, Mysteryland and Welcome to the Future. I also did audio ID's for Beatport, voice overs and audio editing for their promotional material amongst many other audio services. As well as this I worked as an A&R executive for their newly formed Headliner group, an agency that worked to discover, nurture and develop new musical talent.

Digital Producer
Big Day Out music festival was Australia's longest running and biggest music festival for 22 years. In 1994 I we created the world's first festival website for Big Day Out. And continued to create, develop and manage their online assets right up until 2011.During this period we created many world firsts: one of the first online ticket purchasing systems for a festival (1997), world first live streaming from a major event (1998 - 2000)I worked to innovate and build online assets, community and new online revenue opportunities for the Big Day Out. As the event grew and the online assets became more core to their business I created a solid and reliable team of designers and developers to service the clients needs. Always innovating, the Big Day Out won many awards for their event and for their online presence. This was, in part, due to my team at MediaNet productions who always pushed to find new and better ways to deliver compelling content and create a smooth and friendly user experience.
