About Christopher Cortina
I am an MS Biostatistics student at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a graduate resesarch assistant at the RISE Lab at the UNC Center for Health Equity Research. I have experience as a statistical programmer at Stat One, LLC, and in 2019 I graduated from UNC with majors in biostatistics and mathematics and a minor in music, and with an interest in public health issues, statistics, statistical programming, and data analysis. Through my education and experiences, I have gained experience with researching public health topics and presenting my findings, along with experience using tools such as SAS, R, and GIS to answer research questions.
