My practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate, with an emphasis in the areas of leasing, development, acquisitions and dispositions. However, in the process of serving in an in-house legal department, I also draft, negotiate and counsel internal clients on a wide variety of agreements and commercial transactions, including without limitation: Franchise Agreements, Master Services Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Project Management Agreements, Signage Agreements, temporary employment agreements and Facility Services Agreements. Although my practice is currently focused primarily in commercial real estate and business transactions, throughout my career, I have counseled and represented healthcare clients in a broad range of matters. Early on in my career, the bulk of my practice was focused on representing hospitals in various business disputes, including managed care disputes regarding reimbursement, lease disputes, Certificate of Need challenges and disputes surrounding peer review. In addition, my practice also included counseling healthcare clients on regulatory compliance issues such as HIPAA and potential fraud and abuse.Having such a broad range of experiences, I possess a unique perspective, and am forward-thinking and organized in my approach to counseling clients in order to protect them from potential liabilities while ensuring the accomplishment of their goals and objectives.
