I am an Architect interested in contemporary design and technology in both historical and modern settings. Linedota Architects is my practice. One aspect of the practice directed by Feona M.S. Cheng specializes in hotel design. The other aspect of the practice directed by me, concentrates on residential and other types of architecture where our clients consider design to be important. I also write about, and teach architecture. As editor of Detail Magazine's English language blog, I aim to spread a better understanding of contemporary architecture and design with a view to encouraging all building to be as ethical, sustainable, and of course, as beautiful as possible. Within Linedota Architects we have developed a strong reputation for acquiring planning approval, often where others have failed. The key to this success is, I consider, the application creative and sound environmental design principles, coupled with thorough analysis of the site and relevant policy.
