Provided Java software development services for CDG on the Specsavers digital platform using Spring Boot/Java in AWS. Projects included: * Contact Lens subscription management system * GDPR consent system to manage personal data in accordance with the EU GDPR law * Deployment automation with Nomad * Digital Platform Data Tier provisioning with Terraform

Activities included:* Platform Architecture in AWS* Systems Analysis & Design* Planning & Estimation* Development & Code review* Leading team of 2-3 developers* Build, Release & Deployment management* Deployment & Provisioning using Ansible & Jenkins* CQRS* Eventsourcing with Eventstore and MongoBuild and deployment platform architecture and build in AWS with Ansible and Python running modern Java applications (i.e. Spring Boot, Dropwizard, Play) for DVLA, as part of the Vehicle Excise Duty Reform (VEDr) project. In my employment as a Systems/Computer Technician in ACU, I assisted in supporting over 400 networked client PC’s running Windows 2000 and XP Professional, server machines running Windows Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003, local and networked HP printers, Canon scanners, Cisco/3COM network switches/hubs and CISCO Firewalls.In daily operations, I updated desktop and server operating systems with the relevant critical updates/Service Packs, ensured AntiVirus software was functioning correctly, diagnosed hardware faults, rebuilt machines using Norton Ghost, installed new peripherals, upgraded HDD and memory on desktop machines, installed MS Office, MS FrontPage, SITS Database, QL client and AFD Postcode specialist software packages.In addition, I managed network domains, O/U’s, groups and user accounts in Active Directory 2000 and 2003, configured mailboxes/calendars/Distribution List etc on Exchange 5.5 and 2003, took part in the server backup rota, set up laptops/projectors/plasma screens for presentations, updated inventory records and re-organised equipment storage areas. I also took an active role in migrating users from Microsoft Exchange 5.5 to Microsoft Exchange 2003.
