The latest spin-off from the University of East Anglia, Cellexcel has created a novel process to manufacture water-resistant bio-composite materials. These will replace conventional composites such as fiberglass and carbon fibre, as well as plastics and metal. Applications include external automotive components and panels, leisure craft and outdoor furniture, lowering the carbon footprint of their manufacture.
