About Christopher Darley

After 20 years in finance, and a move away from the finance capitals of the world, my wife and I decided to fill a gap in the Atlanta market and open a preschool, as we were unable to find a suitable location to send our own son. Initially it was an ancillary endeavour, as we found our feet in a brand new industry. However, the rewarding nature of both early childhood education, learning a completely new skill, and managing my own business proved to be extremely enjoyable and fruitful, and 14 years later we continue to graduate brilliant fresh young and inquisitive minds into the community. It's an amazing profession, filled with people with passion and commitment and not enjoying the financial rewards that surrounded me for the first phase of my career, which makes their dedication all the more impressive. I would say that 'Infant Room Teacher' is the most demanding job I have ever seen anyone have to perform! We have a decision to make about our next stage; onwards and upwards with more schools, and regional expansion, or concentrate on excellence in one location, Fun decisions to have to make.
