About Christopher D. Bentley, Mba, Cfp®, Clu®, Bfa®, Crpc®

After nearly 15 years in the financial advisory and wealth management business, I have hung up stocks and bonds for widows and widowers. I founded Wings for Widows five years ago to provide those without access to solid financial advice a way to help navigate life after loss when they need advice the most. I retired June 30 this year and began as the CEO of Wings for Widows on July 1. I am honored and excited to lead Wings for Widows into the future.Our mission is to provide pro bono financial planning to newly widowed men and women to help them move forward with confidence and hope. We provide these free services nationwide. With nearly 3,000 becoming widowed every day, there is much need.
