I have an extensive background in music and performing arts, having worked onstage, and behind the scenes, and within the industry for the past 30 years. I have found success in bands, with record labels, in recording studios, at venues and events, and more recently within education, working in every imaginable capacity. After completing a National Diploma in Music Performance & Production, I initially became the assistant promotions manager at Coventry's most successful nightclub, but later gained valuable experience as a Technical Manager for a BBC production company. Then I became a producer at one of the UK's leading recording studios, working with some major acts and some prolific producers, and subsequently moved into artist development and management with a record label, while also developing my own successful career as a musician and live engineer/technician. I then moved into education, initially as a Performing Arts Technician, but utilising my skills I was quickly promoted to an Unqualified Teaching position and HLTA, covering subjects including Music, Music Technology, Dance, Drama, Musical Theatre, Photography and Media Studies, and running school events, productions and providing their digital media, which included graphic design, photography, and film editing. In my spare time, I have continued my work within the local music scene, organising numerous charity and community events, including festivals and gigs, supporting artists with production, photography and graphic design, I continue to work as a professional musician in various bands, and I also work as a resource manager and artist mentor for a record label
