I steadily work with local CBP leadership to supply unbiased, responsible, and researched feedback to questions regarding changes to Information Technology (I.T.) infrastructure policies and procedures and ways to improve workplace productivity using the approved and tested I.T. equipment, allowing CBP sites to leverage their leadership for budget submission. Constantly reviewing and creating opportunities to fix, reuse or replace current CBP resources to help CBP units or specialized programs are in need or requesting additional resources based on increased staffing, upper echelon, or national taskings. Within our area, I have worked alongside my regional colleagues to leverage other resources inside and outside our region. Leveraging these assets has allowed units to continue their mission at a cost saving of over 50K to area Office of Field Operations (U.S. Customs), Office of Air and Marine Operations, and Border Patrol unit’s budget.
