• Responsible for daily operations of Final Audit to include: performance of all positions in Final Audit, providing proper training for all positions in the zone (e.g. methods, quality, safety, productivity and parts knowledge), and directing work on daily assignments, maintenance, and records, while ensuring compliance with the safety and quality standards.• Perform daily audits on units produced in the Cooking Factory, while using testing equipment to troubleshoot, identify and solve problems that arise with the assembly line, fabrication, and/or porcelain areas.• Communicating issues that arise, including Audit Faults and following up with other associates, Team Leaders, and Supervisors.• Coordinate with production on concerns involving function/cosmetic standards.• Perform required paperwork to include SPC, quality checks, etc. while coordinating and maintaining records of finished product for auxiliary testing (agency, life test, etc.) for the quality group.

• Responsible for the Aircraft Life Support Systems work center in support of aircraft operations in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan as well as operations in Libya, and many other detachments throughout world.• Conducted site surveys in advance of troop movements to new working locations, generating reports identifying possible site issues and providing recommendations for compliance in regulations, operations and efficiency.• Supervised and trained marines in a two-shift work center.• Tracked and adjusted training as mission required and scheduled additional training outside of normal work center production (i.e. rifle marksmanship training, heavy vehicle training, combat martial arts training, etc.).• Represented the work center during beginning and end of shift organizational maintenance meetings as well as unit/division meetings and briefings to ensure information and issues are processed in a timely manner.• Maintained a secret clearance for classified/confidential systems and for mission specific requirements.

• Responsible for the prevention of defects, ensuring safety and rigid adherence to all guidelines of standard operation procedures for the unit, organization and government regulations.• Responsible for qualification evaluation/re-evaluations and training of personnel through auditing, individual training/mentorship, practical applications/evaluations, proctoring final qualification testing, and providing recommendations for approval or denial of qualifications with detailed analysis.• Utilized thorough knowledge of schematics, drawings and publications on electrical avionics, hydraulic, power plant, explosive, air-frame, emergency egress and life support systems. Including providing final quality inspections and checks for each system.• Conducted investigations directed by the Maintenance Officer, generating reports with findings and recommendations to prevent defects, further efficiency and enhance safety procedures throughout the unit. • Conducted Emergency Reclamation operations, detailed mishap reporting and safely adapted to hazardous situations while supervising a team for the duration of the reclamation missions.• Tracked/scheduled inspections and aircraft equipment maintenance through various programs ensuring explosives, life support systems and other lifetime limited equipment are evaluated and replaced as required, liaising with other divisions and maintenance control to ensure aircraft and associated equipment were flight worthy and mission capable.• Evaluated various unit programs through unscheduled auditing, inspecting and supervising maintenance evolution's to ensure work centers are in compliance with regulations.• Conducted unit training by creating and presenting power points/unit lectures or classes, designing/directing practical applications and group exercises in annual, quarterly and unscheduled training as directed by the Maintenance Officer ensuring documentation of personnel.

Marine Corps Fixed-Wing Aircraft Safety Equipment Mechanics, Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) (MOS code: 6282) • Conduct routine maintenance and scheduled non-destructive inspections of various aircraft systems such as seat and canopy ejection (egress), gaseous and liquid oxygen, life raft ejection, fire extinguishing, air conditioning, cabin and cockpit heat, pressurization, and ventilation.• Conducting unscheduled maintenance/repairs, utilizing calibrated testing equipment to test and troubleshoot aircraft safety equipment and systems. • Ensuring programs within the work center are up to date and in good working condition according to the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (such as tool control, corrosion control, ground support equipment and training programs).
