His years as an infantryman taught him the importance of servant leadership. Putting his soldiers before himself and never asking anyone to do a job he wasn’t willing to do set him apart. His time on the ground culminated as a Platoon Sergeant where he oversaw the professional development and wellbeing of over 60 soldiers. During this time, he also served as a Recruiter where he mentored future Army soldiers on their career opportunities as they completed the enlistment process. His time in the air has seen Chris applying the skills he learned as an infantryman to foster team success as a Company Flight Lead. Here he served in various leadership roles including Company Supply Officer where he oversaw $200M in equipment and assisted in planning a unit movement to southeast Asia. Chris is currently serving as an Instructor Pilot at the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade and spends his free time with his family. They love to travel and spend time exploring the outdoors.
